Contact me to schedule a FREE initial consultation to discuss your concerns, get to know each other, and see if we are a good fit for each other! Then, we will schedule an initial evaluation to evaluate and assess your posture, alignment, strength, mobility, and functional movement patterns; and determine a plan of care to help you reach your goals!
Balanced Bod Pelvic & Orthopedic Physical Therapy takes pride in providing 1:1 one-hour physical therapy sessions in the comfort of your home. All treatment is provided by a licensed doctor of physical therapy. No aides. No more heat or cold packs. No time wasted! You no longer have to feel rushed during your appointment! Due to the highly individualized care, many of my clients see improvement much faster, with less visits, saving you money and time! You will also be paired with a physical therapist (me!) who is invested in your health and recovery, someone who is available via email or phone if you ever have any questions or concerns between your physical therapy appointments. You will also be treated by the same physical therapist to ensure continuity of care and quicker progress! My clients enjoy my years of Pilates experience on the reformer and mat. Most of your home exercises will be based on principles of Rehabilitative Pilates that not only feel good but improve your overall function so you can continue to stay strong and active in your lifestyle.
Any supplies or equipment that are needed for the evaluation and treatments will be brought to your home. This includes a therapy table and exercise equipment, including resistance bands, weights, Franklin balls, etc. Please provide a pillow and bed sheet for the table and body coverage.
We can set up where it feels most comfortable for you, whether that be outdoors or indoors.
No. In California, you can be treated by a physical therapist without a referral for 12 sessions or 45 calendar days, whichever occurs first. After this period, you will need to have an in-person examination with your doctor and a referral from your physician in order to continue with physical therapy.
5) Yes, you can use insurance. However, Balanced Body POPT is an out-of-network provider. This means that you are responsible to pay before or at the time of your visit. Upon request, you will receive a superbill - a financial bill of the services and treatment provided - after each visit. You may submit your superbill through your insurance company for reimbursement; however, the amount of reimbursement will vary depending on your out-of-network benefits.
Please call your insurance company prior to your first visit to understand your out-of-network benefits.
You should ask your insurance the following questions:
**Please note that reimbursement is NOT guaranteed. Your insurance company will determine reimbursement rates.
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, check, or Zelle. I also accept credit cards and HSA/FSA cards but will charge $5 for the processing fee.
Any changes or requests to cancel or reschedule appointments must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Requests made with less than 48 hours notice will incur a 100% service fee charge.
Unlike most in-network clinics, where you have to wait for at least 4-6 months, most of my clients are able to get an appointment within 1-3 weeks.
Schedule your free 15-minute virtual or phone consultation to learn more about me, my services and schedule an appointment so we can see if we are a good fit and have sufficient time for your physical therapy evaluation and treatment during your initial visit. PLEASE NOTE: I provide in-home physical therapy services in Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Glen Ellen, and Sonoma.
